what could i ever possibly say about this post that would be enough. i have known kim for so long. she is a wonderful vocalist and i have had the privilege of singing with her, off and on, for years. back when me and my wife started dating, they became instant friends. kim is so much like a little sister to me, you can only imagine how honored i was when she asked me to be her photographer for their wedding day! i was also very excited to meet matt! he is a great guy, and i am so excited for the two of them as they start their new life together.
they wanted to come to tupelo for their engagement shoot. being that we are all from memphis, and all HUGE elvis fans, i decided to wrap a little elvis into the shoot. we started at the literal birthplace of "the king". i would love to show you more pictures from the house, but seeing that there were about 100 people around (it seemed like that at least), they were none too impressed (or patient) that we were taking pictures, and no one wanted to assist us in any way possible to help us get a few more shots. dont mess with elvis fans!
then we moved right down the road to the "dairy kream". this is where elvis would go as a kid to buy ice-cream. he stood at the window on the left and ordered (wow you say, i know!)
then it was time to break away from the crowds and just let the two of them be, well, just the two of them. i love these next few...
i can't wait for the wedding in april! matt i am so glad that you and kim found each other, i wish the best for both of you.
